The BCA program is recognized by UGC and affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Nagpur. The syllabus and marking scheme followed are strictly as per the format prescribed by the university. The medium of education is English.
Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. It is a three year course that outfits the understudies with vital aptitudes and innovative skill of the present patterns in Information Technology industry. With the fast development of IT industry in India, the demand of computer professional is increasing day by day. It is a technical degree that prepares students for a career in the field of computer applications and software development, this being a professional course .It contains the subjects such as Programming in C Language (Basic and Advanced), Networking, World-Wide-Web, Data Structure, Advanced C Language Programming, Database Management, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Object Oriented Programming using C++, Visual Basic, Programming using PHP, JAVA, Oracle, Operating Systems, Web Scripting and Development.
Pass in 12th Class from any recognized board and must also have passed English as a subject.
The BCA program is separated into six semesters. Each Semester consists of 6 subjects. Each academic term of the course is split into 2 term (July-December & January-May). In every semester assessment is done by the plan set down by the University. Students have to attend Summer Internships/ Project Work after 2nd and 4th Semester examinations.
